The City of Malaga is positioned as an example to follow towards the Circular Economy, with a clear and firm policy in the use of Asphalts with tire dust in its streets.
Today, tire dust use technology has evolved, especially with the appearance of the semi-humid road, where RARx, the rubber powder additive from Cirtec, is the quality leader. In this way there are no technical barriers that prevent the massive use of asphalt with tire dust in any situation.
On the other hand, the Circular Economy should not only be taken as an imposition from Europe, but we must take it as a philosophy bound by the good of the environment.
In this regard, the Malaga City Council has published the “RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE USE OF BITUMINOUS MIXTURES TREATED WITH RUBBER POWDER FROM OUT OF USE TIRES (NFU) IN ROAD FIRMS IN MALAGA”, regulating the potential use in all its Projects.
Malaga will host ASPHALT RUBBER 2021, giving an example of its willingness to improve the urban environment and an example of the struggle to improve the environment.
